Golf is quickly becoming one of fashion’s most compelling luxury aesthetics.
Modern apparel brands are redefining the traditional country club atmosphere. Fashion photography is changing alongside it, too. Phil Kramer captures glamorous editorial photos that immerses his viewers in golf’s modern luxury lifestyle.
With the PGA Championship arriving near Philadelphia this Spring, our creative team partnered with Generation Dragon and RowHome Magazine to produce a luxury golf fashion editorial at Green Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania.
The final result was a cinematic fashion campaign. The photos capture the playful sophistication surrounding today’s luxury sports culture.
Creating a Luxury Golf Fashion Campaign
Country club fashion is stylish, modern, and luxury-driven. For the Tee Time fashion photography project, our goal was to create images that felt bold while capturing the relaxing lifestyle of playing golf.
Instead of treating this session like traditional sports photography, we approached it as a fashion editorial. From the wardrobe styling to the location and model direction, every detail came together to present a fresh take on how people play golf.
Green Valley Country Club gave us the perfect backdrop for the campaign. The scenic golf course, blooming trees, and open landscapes matched the sports-luxe style of Generation Dragon’s clothing.
Planning a fashion photography in Philadelphia shoot for country club sportswear takes more than finding a beautiful golf course.
We kept the wardrobe, food, camera equipment, batteries, and hair and make-up station in one central location. This decision made the production process smooth and efficient. Instead of driving a golf cart to multiple holes, we saved time by capturing photos at stunning areas near the club.
Throughout the day, our team photographed the models at the putting greens, driving range, and nearby golf holes. These locations overlook scenic views of the course. Each one gave us a dynamic backdrop, while keeping the main focus on Generation Dragon’s fashion designs.
Every location, pose, and composition was carefully chosen to support the sports-luxe aesthetic.
Finding a suitable golf course plays a major role in shaping the overall look of the fashion campaign.
We decided to photograph this editorial at Green Valley Country Club. Our studio, along with Generation Dragon, already had a strong relationship with the club. In addition to this, the location is an easy drive from our Philadelphia studio.
From a visual perspective, Green Valley Country Club gives us everything we want for sports fashion photography. The scenic course, cherry blossom trees, and iconic outdoor clock near the putting greens attributed to the timeless look.
Every photo location complemented the clothing while adding dimension, texture, natural beauty to the final results.
