Creative Process
Phil Kramer, a Philadelphia photographer, tells the story of two women who escape to the American circus. They encounter a clown, a firebreather, a contortionist, a stilt-walker and a strongman. Through a series of fashion portraits, the circus comes to life and their adventure grows stranger.
The fashion at the American circus is an homage to the classic vaudeville acts in the early twentieth century.
