The Logan Hotel wedding venue sets the stage for a memorable day filled with a Frank Sinatra impersonator, cannolis on the dance floor, and a surprise appearance by the Mummers.
This romantic wedding day began with bride and groom prep in modern hotel suites. Following this, the couple shared an intimate ceremony in The Stenton, transitioned into the ballroom foyer for cocktail hour, and finally, celebrated their reception in the Grand Ballroom.
If you’re considering a Logan Hotel wedding during the Fall, these real moments can provide a glimpse into what your day could look like.
Why The Logan Hotel is a Premier Wedding Venue
This hotel offers the best views of the iconic Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The space’s style is a blend of modern luxury with classic city charm, which makes it a natural choice for couples seeking a vibrant wedding experience. Some of the best wedding photos by Phil Kramer were captured at The Logan Hotel
The Logan Hotel is close to the city's most iconic photo backdrops. Couples can explore the newly renovated Logan Circle, the "Rocky Steps" at the Museum of Art, and capture unique views of City Hall in the distance.
Convenience is a major perk of planning a wedding at this venue. As you’ll notice in these wedding photos, the preparation, ceremony, reception, and guest accommodations are all in one place. This helps the day flow effortlessly without unnecessary travel or stress.
As Logan Hotel wedding photographers, we know exactly how to use this space to create bold, dynamic photos. You can read our Guide to Weddings at The Logan Hotel in Philadelphia for a full breakdown of the venue.

This wedding day began inside the Canterbury Suite. As photographers, we love this room because of the natural light that pours in through the large windows. When we combine that soft light with our professional lighting strobes, it creates bold, high-fashion wedding photos.
The atmosphere was calm but filled with anticipation. After the hair and makeup stages, family and friends gathered to help the bride into her gown. Our photography approach includes documenting every candid detail so the best moments are remembered for generations.

While many ceremonies here are hosted at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul or the outdoor courtyard, The Stenton is an ideal choice for chilly Fall evenings.
Officiated by a Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice, the bride and groom exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. The Stenton is a transformative space; even with minimal decor, it serves as a modern, intimate area for a wedding ceremony. The layout allows every guest to feel connected to the moment, a key detail that makes a difference in how the day is photographed.
One of the best perks of weddings at The Logan is the immediate access to incredible portrait locations. On this big day, we explored the Parkway median for photos with City Hall in the background. Since City Hall is a meaningful place for the couple, we devoted extra time to capturing their connection against the grandiose architecture and skyline views.
These nearby spots allow couples to step away briefly from the event, capture stunning portraits with the top wedding photographers in Philadelphia, and return to their celebration without losing momentum.

The reception space at The Logan transforms beautifully for each couple, blending modern design with a warm, inviting atmosphere. As guests entered, the room came alive with thoughtful details and elegant décor. From heartfelt speeches to a packed dance floor, the energy built throughout the night, creating a celebration that felt both sophisticated and full of life.

The evening took an exciting turn when the Quaker City String Band marched into the Grand Ballroom. This local group of Mummers joined the celebration with drums, horns, and banjos.
Dressed in vibrant blue, gold, and white, the Mummers filled the room with pure excitement. Guests gathered around as the wedding couple joined in, dancing throughout the room while lifting feathered umbrellas to the ceiling. It is a unique Philly experience that out-of-town guests absolutely love.

If the Mummers weren’t enough, Joey Cannoli made his way onto the floor. During the reception, he serves fresh cannolis from a wearable serving tray. This service is playful, interactive, and completely unexpected.
From a photography perspective, moments like this are gold. Joey Cannoli’s presence helps us capture genuine reactions and layered storytelling, making the wedding gallery look candid and fun.

Amid all the excitement, the couple took a quiet moment together in the outdoor courtyard. We captured some of the most intimate wedding portraits of the entire day here. During the nighttime hours, this space has a peaceful atmosphere with soft string lights hanging above, offering a beautiful contrast to the high-energy celebration inside.
