This couple approached their engagement photos with the perfect combination of style and authenticity. A Glimpse Into the Story

In five months, this couple was planning to celebrate their wedding at the Ritz Carlton. For this reason, we were able to gain permission to capture engagement photos here.

Together, we chose the Ritz Carlton because it offers architectural elegance, grand interior spaces, and intimate corners that reflect their timeless style. The venue holds a special place in their relationship. Also, working indoors allowed us to avoid the extreme Summer heat.

One of the most memorable moments of the engagement session happened on the 2nd floor balcony. The couple embraced one another high above the main lobby, and with the enormous distance between us, we had to communicate through silent hand signals to direct their movements. 

The result was a series of natural, effortless portraits that captured their connection and sense of fun from across the hotel. This moment became one of the defining images of the session.

We scheduled this engagement session to begin at 2:00PM on a Saturday in July. Thankfully, there were no other events scheduled at the hotel on this day, so we were able to incorporate the Ritz Carlton’s best features.

At 2:00PM, lunchtime is finishing at Aqimero, but the check-in rush begins at 3:00PM. We avoided this hotel traffic by following the engagement photo timeline below:

Our story-driven engagement sessions are about 2-3 hours. This engagement session at the Ritz Carlton was 3 hours (from 2:00PM to 5:00PM). These productions are time consuming with constant movement, lighting tests, and of course, working with the couple in front of the camera.
