Corporate Headshot Photography by Phil Kramer in Philadelphia

This corporate headshot photography project occurs in Delaware for The Reybold Group. In collaboration with their marketing team, the approach involves capturing headshots that align their brand. These photos are intended for media spotlights, LinkedIn profiles, and website pages.

Phil Kramer, the headshot photographer, travels from Philadelphia to the club house at Columbia Place. The team installs a fashion gray background in the space to photograph each team member, ranging from interior designers, sales executives, and construction workers.

Elle Palachick performs hair and make-up on each subject prior to them stepping on set.

Creative Process

All corporate headshot photography should feel approachable and sophisticated. Achieving this requires each subject to pose on set for about 20-30 minutes. A headshot photographer needs ample time to help subjects gain their camera confidence.

Upon arrival, Phil Kramer and the team install the fashion grey background at Columbia Place in Delaware. Applewood boxes are used for subjects to place their foot on and lean forward. The high camera angle captures their headshot photo from a flattering perspective that compliments their appearance.

Corporate headshot photos demand a stylish business-casual wardrobe selection. Reybold chooses a simple blue and grey color palette, which aligns with their cozy home aesthetic. Other team members choose to wear light jewelry, trendy scarves, and even a white construction helmet with the company logo.

Against a grey background, there are wide options for clothes. As a professional headshot studio, earth-tone is always a high recommendation. Some subjects wear mustard yellow, burgundy, and light blue in their headshot photos.

Since these corporate headshots are from above the chest, there is less attention to clothes. The focus is posing, lighting, and generating a proper expression.
