Background

The Laurel at Rittenhouse Square hosts the backdrop for Philadelphia Style magazine’s top real estate leaders. Our Philadelphia portrait photography studio performs a location scout and decides to photograph Bart Blatstein in the main lobby.

Bart is the founder of Tower Investments. This upcoming Summer, they’re opening the Island Waterpark at The Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City. The Island Waterpark is the largest beachfront waterpark in the world.

Wardrobe

The best outfit for a portrait session at The Laurel in Philadelphia is a navy-blue suit and brown shoes. It is a simple style that demonstrates professionalism and sophistication. Bart’s navy-blue suit and baby blue tie combo are a perfect blend against his white button-down shirt.

Creative Process

Prior to Bart’s arrival, we load-in at The Laurel with our production equipment. We select a small section of the main lobby for the photoshoot. An abstract painting with a mix of blue, yellow, and red is on display.

The colorful wall art is a perfect setting because the subject stands out from the background.

This is a top portrait photography location because it is simple and classic. The editorial photograph appears as the lead-in page for top real estate leaders in Philadelphia Style magazine.

Prior to the issue launch, Bart visits our studio to record a press release video. He discusses his impression of The Laurel, his Island Waterpark project at Showboat Island, and Atlantic City real estate.
